Giorgio Netti, composer, coach
Giorgio Netti was born in Milan in 1963. He studied composition with Sandro Gorli and was poetically oriented by the lectures of Brian Ferneyhough, Gérard Grisey, Emmanuel Nunes, Wolfgang Rihm and Iannis Xenakis held between 1986 and 1995 in the same city.
His work is characterised by the convergence of initial intuition, instrumental practice and structure in a single space, the form, in which every moment is experienced as an unrepeatable singularity and local materialisation of a broader cohesive force.
