Andreas Lindenbaum, cello

Andreas Lindenbaum was born in Detmold, Germany in 1963. He studied the cello and composition at the NWD Detmold Academy of Music. In 1986 he received a scholarship from the "Rotary-Foundation International Studies" at the School of Music in Bloomington, USA, where he studied in the class of Janos Starker.
Since 1989 he has been living in Vienna and has been a member of the Klangforum Wien. A year later he began teaching at the Vienna Conservatory. He enjoys cooking.
